The article is devoted to use of methods in delivery and inventory management in transport companies. It is known that poor inventory management leads to two problems: illiquid assets and deficit. In transport companies both of these problems lead to significant costs, therefore an urgent need for developing an optimal policy of inventory management is particularly acute. The paper presents examples of inventory stocks parameters calculations based on various methods and their comparative analysis.
