Annotation. During the blockade of Leningrad, which lasted from September 8, 1941 to January 18, 1944, the main logistics route connecting the blockade city with the Big Land passed along the territory of the Leningrad Region and Lake Ladoga free of the enemy. The use of this route allowed to deliver to the population and troops everything necessary to achieve victory over the enemy. Nowadays, the land part of the blockade logistics route is marked with commemorative kilometer pillars with the inscription «Road of Life».
