Container shipping logistics to meet the needs of large urban agglomerations

Annotationt. The article describes the main trends for the providing goods logistics to consumers in urban agglomerations. The management decisions analysis on the Moscow region example makes it possible to form and scale freight logistics reorganization model for other major transport hubs. The key element of the new logistics schemes is the goods transportation in containers. This aspect, together with the terminal network forming, is a positive optimizing example of the all cargo delivery chain components.
