28 ноября в Москве в отеле «Золотое кольцо» прошел XI форум «Склады России: итоги года!».
2015 has been a busy year for Paxxal Inc, having launched its distinctive Siluma® pallet in the worldwide market through select exhibitions in North America, the Middle East and, most recently, Europe. The pioneering pallet manufacturer unveiled its unique plastic pallet in Paris, France at the SITL Intralogistics trade show, held from 31st March-2nd April, 2015. This marks the 3rd unveiling of the Siluma® pallet for Paxxal Inc. since November 2014 and attests to the markets’ significant receptivity of the product.
Plastic pallets currently account for 6% of the European pallet market and is projected to continue to grow. The European market is shifting towards plastic pallets much faster than other regions. This is due, in large part, to the changing regulations in the region that stipulate the requirement for more hygienic, easier to clean supply chain and material handling solutions that are also environmentally friendly.
Paxxal Inc.’s revolutionary Siluma® pallet is manufactured using a proprietary rotomolding technology that creates a more consistent, uniform and durable plastic product. Siluma® is a patented formulation of virgin HDPE and high grade silica sand, bonded by a Paxxal unifier that meets food-grade standards and allows the pallet to be exempt from fumigation requirements. After its functional life cycle of up to 10 years, the pallet can be reground and recycled into parts of a new Paxxal pallet, thereby reducing the overall environmental footprint.
Soft wood pallets are no longer allowed for imports into the US, Europe, China, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and several other countries as import and export regulations are tightened and more closely monitored in order to prevent insect and/or biological contamination. Hard wood pallets require treatment which can be costly. A more pragmatic and longer lasting solution is a move to plastic pallets, and many industries are embracing this change. As manufacturing activity rebounds in Europe, following from the slump in 2007, demand for plastic pallets is steadily rising, with a projected 5% annual sales growth rate through 2017.
Following its release in the European market, Paxxal’s Siluma® pallet has been widely acknowledged for its enhanced durability as compared to other plastic pallet alternatives. The dimensions of the Paxxal pallet (100 x 120 x 16 mm) aligns with the standardized Euro 2 pallet size, making it a universally applicable supply chain solution. The revolutionary rotomolding technology has also received praise for its small footprint, high volume manufacturing capability and its ability to make consistent and uniform pallets.
