The eighth issue of the LOGISTIC journal of 2018 has been published

On the eve of the CeMAT Russia 2018 exhibition we devote the eighth issue of "LOGISTICS" journal to the warehouse and inventory management.

 On the pages of the new issue we will describe the way to maximize the use of the warehouse area and increase its productivity with the help of modern technologies offered by COMITAS company. You will learn how intralogistic unmanned squat vehicles can help in this. In his article Sergey Gnezdilov, our author, gives a classification of such devices according to the method of their application in the warehouse, the type of the cargo being transported and other features.

Solutions that help "ergonomize" are offered by CONSTRUCTOR company.  In this case, we are talking about successful work, performed in such a way as to most effectively implement the required operations with minimal time and resources. 

In their article Daniil Laikov and Denis Stasevich, present the description of the methodology to implement information systems based on the SureStep methodology, as well as the features and stage-by-stage introduction of warehouse management systems.

 The issues of error-free implementation of WMS are considered by Vasily Demin: in his publication he talks about the reasons for the low efficiency of most implementations and suggests the ways to overcome this problem. 

With the growth of opportunities for managing product placement and warehouse processing technologies, the task to choose a product placement strategy is becoming more independent and requires serious consideration. Kirill Tolmachev and Alexander Volochkov will help understand this task with their article "Slotting Strategy as a Part of Logistics Design".
