BDP International Unveils Enhanced ‘Smart Tower’ Application for Increased Visibility Management

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.

 BDP International, a leading privately held global logistics and transportation services company, has launched an improved version of BDP Smart Tower® to streamline visibility and maintenance of customer’s asset management, specifically for ISOtanks.   

The updated platform will promote increased compliance and offers users a precise view of available assets – those in transit and/or in need of maintenance – when they are approaching a warning stage where inspection is required. Based on inspection deadlines, users will be prompted with a series of alerts and warnings to ensure to high-levels of awareness.  

“Smart Tower® has never been easier to navigate, and provides our customers with highly configurable strategic information as well as tactical, frontline decision-support data through a single-source web portal,” said Chris LoPriore, Global Vice President, Sales & Marketing. “For example, a user can easily locate all assets available at a particular location by using the detail widget - giving a clear view for all forecasting and planning purposes.”  

This latest update is complementary to BDP’s Smart Suite® of digital visibility applications. BDP Smart® allows users to track the full life cycle of their supply chain, and includes:

• Track-and-trace functionality 
• Document storage and distribution 
• Data analysis 
• Metric management 
• Compliance reporting and assessment  

Smart Suite® is available in vertical specific dashboards for BDP’s chemical, retail and life science customers to manage the intricate requirements of each business. Additionally, users can configure alerts to monitor exceptions within the supply chain, and manage vendors and purchase orders through BDP Smart Vū®.
