Dear readers! We are pleased to present to you the eleventh issue of the journal in 2025. There are a lot of relevant and useful materials in the issue, which, hopefully, will not be ignored.
Dear readers! In September the CeMAT RUSSIA exhibition was held, which showed everyone that innovations and robotics are increasingly penetrating the logistics industry. We can safely say that many technologies are tested here, and only then they go out into the world. However, it is not only CeMAT RUSSIA that demonstrates the prevalence of the digital agenda.
Dear readers! This is the ninth issue of the journal, which turned out to be very rich and diverse. Traditionally, the issue is opened by an analyst. The material by Alina Nasyrova from the Market Guide Agency, dedicated to investments in warehouse complexes in Russia, recalls the importance of developing logistics infrastructure for the integrated development of regions.
The MODUL terminal in Arkhangelsk has been put in service quite recently. The total area of the complex is over 12 000 m2, container capacity – up to 1000 TEU. The terminal has an open storage warehouse, own railway depot and railway tracks with total length of over 3 500 m.
Since the first cargo consignment was handled and sent for export in December 2015 the terminal has undergone substantial transformations in several directions: Nissan and Toyota fork lift trucks with different lifting capacity were added to the fleet of terminal equipment, a site for container stock of Maersk Line was specially equipped at the terminal infrastructure, this simplifies and speeds up spotting empty containers to Clients. The newly implemented system of preliminary registration allows deploying the terminal resources to maximum effect 7/24.
The terminal offers a wide range of services for container transportation: receiving import cargoes, storage, unloading and packing containers, distribution with trucks over the region, customs clearance, sending cargoes with container trains.
