Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. Today, many Russian companies operate under strict sanctions restrictions, which force them to reorient logistics flows. One of the possible solutions to this problem may be the Russia – Mongolia – China economic corridor. Details can be found in the article by Alexandra Kazunina.
According to CBRE research, there were no new branded hotels put into operation in Yekaterinburg in 2017.
114 branded hotels with about 6,000 rooms in total operates in Yekaterinburg as of the beginning of 2017. There are about 20 big quality hotels are functioning in Yekaterinburg at the moment which is more than a half of all rooms in this city. Among them are 7 international hotels: Angelo by Vienna House (211), DoubleTree by Hilton (141), Hyatt Regency (293), Liner Airport hotel (149), Novotel Yekaterinburg Centre (168), Park Inn by Radisson (160) and Ramada Hotel &Spa (163).
Hyatt Place for 146 rooms, the second hotel under Hyatt Hotels Corporation management will be opened in Yekaterinburg in 2018.
Tatiana Belova Associate Director, Head of Hospitality & Tourism group CBRE in Russia said: “Yekaterinburg has every chance to demonstrate the growth of RevPAR at the level of 7-10%. This all will be the result of the activation of the event segment in the city: in addition to FIFA World Cup and the traditional July INNOPROM, international judo tournament took place in Yekaterinburg in March, etc."
