JLL has completed LEED certification of The Home of Sport, Russian headquarters of adidas Group, the largest multinational manufacturer of sports footwear, apparel, and accessories. Both the offices and the adidas Academy (the total area is 11,600 sq m) located in Krylatsky Hills business park were awarded LEED Silver rating.

adidas Group’s global policy requires that any newly built or fitted out facilities should be certified to LEED standard. LEED is a recognized brand and offers its customers dramatic savings on operational costs, energy, and water consumption. adidas Group facility in Krylatsky Hills meets all requirements for energy-efficient buildings, with special attention being paid to energy and water saving, proper lighting as well as comfort of employees.
Ksenia Agapova, Head of Sustainability Services, JLL, Russia & CIS, says: “adidas Group’s project is a unique example of green development in the Russian market with different types of spaces combined in one certification. We see growing demand for environmental certification from international customers who understand the importance of meeting environmental standards for their assets and business operations. The certified project for adidas Group included water-saving fixtures; LED lighting controlled by DALI sensors; finishing materials containing recycled materials; energy-efficient equipment; bicycle racks; and showers. As a result, The Home of Sport facilities received high LEED ratings in all key categories.”
