ACEX Group transported the attractions to Dream Island
ACEX Group provided transportation and customs clearance of 27 attractions, animatronics and artificial trees for Dream Island — the first indoor theme park in Russia and the largest one in Europe. The delivered objects are located on the territory of nine thematic fairy-tale worlds, an urban promenade and a landscape park. Starting the international logistics services in March 2018, ACEX Group is currently ongoing.
"We worked with overall dimensions. The "Temple of fire" attraction weighed 80 tons, and the "Skating Mountain" — more than 250 tons. Transportation of all the attractions was carried out in separate batches of more than 50 trucks for 6 months. It was interesting to work on the delivery of animatronics — full-size models of prehistoric animals that can move freely around the Park under the control of an operator. The length of the animatronic dinosaur "T-Rex" is 25 meters, and the height is more than 5 meters”, — said Alexey Lipatov, head of the multimodal Department of ACEX Group.
In addition to transportation and customs clearance services, ACEX Group provided consulting services for the preparation of documents for import.
“Dream Island is not only an entertainment product. It showed the potential of Russian business to implement really large projects. In many ways, this work has been successful due to the expansion of the range of logistics services in relation to the tasks and conditions of the theme parks”, — said Miroslav Zolotarev, head of ACEX Group.
Dream Island promises to become one of the most ambitious and socially significant urban development projects in the Russian capital in 2020. It is expected that the cultural and entertainment cluster created in Moscow will become one of the most popular attractions of the Russian capital, along with Kremlin, Gorky Park and VDNH. In addition to developing a culture of leisure, the project aims to improve the quality of the urban environment, increase the investment attractiveness of the city and create the new jobs.
According to preliminary estimates, Dream Island, including a landscape Park and a city promenade, can accommodate up to 50 million people a year.
