The eighth issue of the LOGISTICS journal of 2022 has been published
Dear readers! Here is the latest issue of the journal of 2022. On the eve of the CeMAT RUSSIA exhibition, we paid considerable attention to the warehouse theme during the preparation of the publication.
In the changing economic and geopolitical reality, companies are looking for solutions for the non-stop and efficient operation of their business processes. It should be noted that there are many similar offers on the market that can both save money and minimize risks. For example, Dmitry Filatov, Director of Business Development at InStock Technologies, talks about the feasibility of renting a WMS instead of buying it. In his opinion, this approach attracts with the possibility of a simple and quick operation start with the system and minimal investments in the form of a monthly payment.
Difficulties of further use of imported software products have become a difficult task for managers of individual warehouses and large industrial enterprises in various sectors of our economy. We learned how to work with this problem in the company "SOLVO", which offers to make the transition from imported WMS to domestic as painlessly and smoothly as possible. By the way, Nikolay Lobanov, an independent logistics expert, in his interview to our journal, emphasizes that it is Russian technologies that should be preferred to reduce risks during the operation of WMS.
In search of new ways to organize uninterrupted and high-precision processing of goods, market participants began to consider robotic technologies to solve their tasks more often.
