Annotation. The article considers the modern process of transformation of payment systems in the transport industry, which is significantly influenced by various logistical aspects. The economic processes of transformation of payment systems in the transport industry are considered both at the micro (impact on transport operators and passengers) and macro levels (macroeconomic effect). The main challenges faced by the transformation of payment systems in the transport industry are identified, which include technological inequalities in regions, the need for significant investments in infrastructure and the risks of monopolization of payment services.
